• Make sure that the surfaces to be bonded are even, clean, dry and free from grease/oil.
• A coat of adhesive is to be applied uniformly on both the surfaces to be joined. Dendrite White can be applied by brush, roller, applicator etc
• Bring both the adhesive coated surfaces in proper contact before adhesive is dried. Pressure is given from one side by using a piece of cloth to avoid bubbles entrapping.
• Press the surfaces firmly together by using nails, clamps, weight, tape etc. Excess adhesive that oozes out from edges may be wiped off with a moisten cloth.
• Bonded surfaces should be kept under pressure for 24 hrs to achieve best result. However, in case of urgency, pressure may be released after 6hrs & assemble can be taken for use.
• In case of highly porous substrates like particleboard, MDF etc. for better bonding apply a thin coat of Dendrite White on the surface and allowed to dry. This will fill the pores of the surface. After drying, buff lightly with sand paper to get smooth uniform surface. Then this surface is bonded as per the method stated above.
